Crusoe’s Philip Winchester Shirtless
For some unknown reason, Crusoe hasn’t done well in the ratings. This must be because women don’t realize that blonde and buff bunny Philip Winchester appears shirtless in nearly every episode. And if he isn’t shirtless, he’s wearing one of those sexy pirate-y style shirts and tight leather pants, with tons of leather and bead jewelry. He’s a metrosexual island boy and no matter how crazy the plot of Crusoe gets, Winchester’s always worth watching.
I go on about his beauty, but on top of it, Philip Winchester is a good actor. I’ll leave native UK residents to verify if his British accent is accurate, but it sounds natural and unaffected to me–so much so that I was shocked he was actually American. He handles the show’s mix of humor, snarkiness and drama well, and his easy rapport with handsome costar Tongayi Chirisa (Friday) makes the show a delightful guilty pleasure.
